Smilebox - Total Rip Off
My experience was the same as others here. I only had the trial membership and for many years didn't notice I was being billed for a full membership.
I caught it as it happened this year and they still will not issue any refund. You should never have a recurring charge that you aren't notified of. A trial membership should never roll into a permanent one without some kind of notification! I emailed them and did not receive a response.
I will use every means possible to not promote this company.
They obviously have horrible customer service and must need to rip off people to keep members. They are a perfect example of why you need to readevery word of fine print.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $341.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Smilebox Cons: Billing policy, Charges without notice.
